Background:
WSG are a shopfitting company based in Leeds. They manufacture display systems and cabinetry for the retail, healthcare and education sectors. Covering the whole of the UK, they work with some top high-street brands.
The Challenge:
As the company was expanding, they needed a flexible graphic designer who could work with them on a job-by-job basis and adapt as the business evolved organically.
The Solution:
Logos for their cabinet ranges were needed immediately. Then a newsletter, swiftly followed by other brochures. However, throughout this time they had ideas about changing the company logo, but using the style they already had in place so their old brochures were still usable. Complicated – I had to bear all this in mind from the start.
As it developed, not only did they decide to rebrand, but to change the name of the company too. It was a bit back-to-front, but it worked. I had already set up a house style for their brochures, so then I helped them take their ideas forward and create a fresh, shiny new corporate brand that slotted right in and is not out of place with the design work already produced.
