Background:
Antony Shepherd was my first ever client. Working together, we have become good friends over the years. So when he relocated and started a new venture in the Lake District recently, I was thrilled to be asked to create the top-end look he wanted for his shop.
The Challenge:
The premises Antony had chosen was a blank canvas and required lots of imagination to turn it into a stunning shop inside and out – somewhere that would attract quality customers for his hand-made designer jewellery.
The Solution:
So, I set about designing this beautiful, classic identity. I worked with Antony to create the whole look of the shop, from advising on the colours of the paintwork and flooring to specifying what type of lighting there should be and where it should go. I created the interior graphics panels and shop front signage, sourcing the materials that would create the right feel. I also designed branded interior fittings and provided the stationery design and print.
I have to admit I had never done anything as comprehensive as this with a retail interior before, but I had an idea in my head of how the whole thing should look, and I was more than pleased with the stunning final result.
